The Reverend Laura B. Goodwin (“Pastor Laura”) was born in Springfield, Massachusetts and spent her high school and college years in southern New Hampshire. She received a degree in Early Childhood Education from Fitchburg State University and taught and directed preschool programs for many years. She ‘discovered’ the Episcopal Church as a college student and became active in many aspects of lay ministry. She spent many years in Christian Summer Camp ministry with her husband Todd and sons, Adam and Andrew. In 1995 she joined the staff of Christ Church in Fitchburg, Massachusetts as Parish Administrator. It was during this time that she experienced a call to the ordained ministry. Laura received her MDiv. from Wycliffe College in Toronto Canada in 2007 and was called to serve St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church shortly after graduation. She was ordained to the priesthood at St. Andrew’s in December 2007 and has served as Rector since that time. Pastor Laura loves Parish Ministry, and is especially passionate about preaching and Christian Formation for all ages.
